Rangatahi come to us at many different stages, feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or simply needing someone to talk to. No matter what you’re experiencing , you deserve to feel safe, respected, and heard. We’re here to listen and walk alongside you, at your pace. 

At Ōtepoti Dunedin Whānau Refuge, our support is:

We offer programmes for wāhine, rangatahi, tamariki, and tāne, focused on safety, healing, and strengthening wellbeing. Our programmes support understanding, connection, and positive change in a safe and supportive environment.

 Learning, Support, and Advocacy

We provide guidance, information, and advocacy to help you understand your options and make informed decisions. This may include safety planning, support through systems, and walking alongside you during challenging times. 

 Individualised Support

Every whānau is different. Our support is flexible, confidential, and shaped around your needs, your goals, and your pace. We work alongside you to build safety, stability, and wellbeing in a way that feels right for you.
