ABOUT US

Ōtepoti-Dunedin Whānau Refuge advocates for women, whānau, tamariki (children) and rangatahi (youth) supporting a pathway to safety, regardless of ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, or socio-economic circumstances.

Our aim is to eliminate family violence in our community by providing support, advocacy, education, and awareness

If something does not feel right to you, then it is not OK.

Family violence can affect women of any age, with or without children.

Family violence is a pattern of power, control and coercion.

Abuse is not just physical.

Trust your intuition.
