Advocacy and Support Services Holistic Support
We provide comprehensive support tailored to the needs of each individual and whānau. This includes assistance with accessing medical care, financial aid, housing, and other essential services.
Whānau Specialist Tamariki-(Child) Practitioners focus on the rights of the tamaiti-child, their mana, resilience, strengths, wellbeing, empowerment, and safety. We ensure the voice of the tamaiti is heard, valued, and respected.
We advocate and support tamariki-(children) from ages 4-12 years old who have experienced or been exposed to whānau-family violence. While tamariki-children can be incredibly resilient, the impacts of whānau-family violence can potentially have long-term consequences on their sense of self-worth, education, relationships, and wellbeing. Our educative, therapeutic programmes for tamariki (children) encompass individual and group sessions. These sessions are conducted by dedicated advocates who prioritize the well-being, rights, and empowerment of each tamariki/child.
1:1 sessions or group sessions are confidential and free.
Our specialist programmes are between 8-14 weeks.
