Part Time Accounts Administrator and Funding Coordinator

Ōtepoti Dunedin Whānau Refuge (ODWR) is looking for a skilled and motivated Accounts Administrator and Funding Coordinator to join our team in a part-time role. If you're passionate about supporting a cause, have experience in accounting software, and excel in sourcing and securing funding, this opportunity is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial records and transactions using Xero

  • Prepare and submit funding applications and reports

  • Monitor budgets and financial reports

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial information

  • Collaborate with the team to identify funding opportunities

  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software

  • Experience in grant writing and securing funding

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
