Ōtepoti Dunedin Whānau Refuge (ODWR) is looking for a skilled and motivated Accounts Administrator and Funding Coordinator to join our team in a part-time role. If you're passionate about supporting a cause, have experience in accounting software, and excel in sourcing and securing funding, this opportunity is perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Manage financial records and transactions using Xero
Prepare and submit funding applications and reports
Monitor budgets and financial reports
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial information
Collaborate with the team to identify funding opportunities
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software
Experience in grant writing and securing funding
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
